My little smartie!

Owen loves shapes and colors.  He often looks at me or Adam, and tells us what color our eyes are. 
He also loves to look in the mirror while we wash his hands and says, "My eyes are blue."
Lately, when he draws, he draws a bunch of cirles on the paper.  He tells us they are either O's for Owen, or tires (he draws a little cirlce in the middle for these.)
He is just SO smart, and I love the new things he learns and comes up with.
Owen always has sports on his mind, and I was amazed last night when he was looking at me, and said,"Your eyes are like footballs!"
What child looks at the shape of eyes at two years old?!  Owen notices every little detail!  He's such a smarty pants, and I love him so much!

Owen's Helmet Days

I was watching videos of Owen when he was just a little guy, it was fun to go back and see them. I realized we need to take more video of Owen because I love seeing that his cute personality started to show through so early on.
While going through them I found this one, and thought I'd share since we couldn't stop laughing.
During the summer of 2008, Owen discovered he could put his sad helmet to some use while he was forced to wear it. He finds the funniest ways to entertain himself.
Our camera was awful back then, and it's really low quality.  It's really hard to see at first, but its better than not getting video at all, and I'm glad we have it.
