We took a little vacation to see the Rinquests during April. It was so much fun and we were so happy to be able to spend time with them! We were able to see the pretty area that Jessie lives in, had great food (Chicago style deep dish pizza, and Buffalo Wild Wings! Yum!), and went into the "Windy City" which really lived up to its name! We had a great time visiting the sights and getting some fun pictures! (I also had a good time shopping with Jessie in H&M!)
On Saturday Adam and I got to go to the city alone for the day! It was so much fun and so nice to be able to spend time-just the two of us! Thanks to Jessie and Del for watching Owen for the day! Owen had tons of fun playing with the boys and Georgia the whole trip! He had the best time being with the boys and doing the things little boys love to do, like playing with dinosuars and cars, climbing, jumping, and running everywhere! Owen got really attached to Georgia while we were there, and I knew he was really going to miss her when he walked around Uncle Scott's house on Easter with his arms in the air saying "Gorga? Gorga?" He's going to be excited to see them all next week!
We really had a great time on Easter eating and visiting with Uncle Scott and Aunt Sandy. The kids loved the easter egg hunt and bubbles! Thanks so much Scott and Sandy!
It was so fun and Owen did great, but the last night was rough, and on the flight home something seemed wrong. When I woke up the next morning I could see that his ear had been draining, so I took him in to the doctor and sure enough his ear drum had ruptured. Poor Guy! I feel so bad I didn't know and didn't know what to do for him, but he's had his anitbiotics, and goes for a follow up next week. We're hoping this is a one time thing, and nothing will happen when we fly again in a week or so to Orlando.
Thanks again to Jessie and Del for everything, and we hope to visit again! We love you!

You can see how windy it was! Owen's blanket was out of control!

This guy had just barely stood up from proposing in front of Wrigley Field. He's showing her the ring. What's funny is that Adam was finding a place to get a picture and almost backed right into the guy while he was down on one knee. Adam turned around, noticed him bent down and thought he was just tying his shoe. So he just stood there next to him, waiting for them to walk away while the man was proposing! I don't think they noticed though, and they walked away engaged and happy!
Adam and I went to the Shedd Aquarium during our time in the city.
